A George III sterling silver tea caddy hallmarked London 1779 by Richard Carter, Daniel Smith & Robert Sharp. Shaped oval with straight sides and flat lid, decorated with bright cut engraving. 4.5" (11.5cm) high, 5 1/8" (13cm) across, 12.9 troy oz (400g).
