Georg Jensen Louvre Bowl

A Georg Jensen sterling silver bowl on pedestal base, design #19A (designed by Georg Jensen in 1912). This design is often called the Louvre bowl as an example was purchased for the Louvre Museum's permanent collection in 1914. 8" diameter, 6 3/4" high, 26.4 troy oz.

It is engraved on the bottom: "Presented to B. E. (Mike) Mercer By His College Street Associates On The Occasion Of His Appointment As A Director Of The T. Eaton Co. Ltd. June 1953".
