George II Silver Punch Ladle

A fine George II sterling silver punch ladle hallmarked London 1743 by Thomas Parr II. Shaped oval bowl with gilt interior and turned Walnut handle. Engraved with a Scottish crest and motto "Virescit Vulnere Virtus" for the Burnett family.

Sir Alexander Burnett, was the 4th Baronet of Leys in the County of Kincardine, Scotland from 1714- 1758.
