Massive Sterling Jardiniere

A massive and highly ornate sterling silver jardiniere, Italian c. 1950. Half fluted oval body on pedestal foot with pierced gallery border and scrolling acanthus leaf handles. 21 3/4" (55.5cm) across the handles, 12 1/2" (31.75cm) wide, 9" (23cm) high, 95 troy oz (2960g).
