A Victorian sterling silver snuff box hallmarked Birmingham 1866 by Robert Thornton. Shaped rectangular form with engine turned decoration, gilt interior and applied thumbpiece. 3 1/4" x 2 1/8", 108g.

Inscribed "Presented to joseph Harrison By His Workmen and Friends as a token of respect for his long and faithful services to the Manchester & Saltersbrook Trust Nov. 1867".
