Georgian Silver Agricultural Trophy

A George III sterling silver goblet hallmarked London 1806 maker's mark is partially rubbed (possibly HC for Henry Croswell). Engraved with a charming presentation inscription as an agricultural trophy: "Sussex Agricultural Society/ Presented to/ William Newton Esq./ For the Best Heifer Two Years Old/ Produced at/ The Annual Shew of Cattle and Sheep at Lewes/ 1806/ The Mother of the Above Heifer/ Gain'd a Prize in/ 1800." 6 3/8" high, 5 troy oz.
