01115 - Russian Silver Snuff Box

A Russian silver parcel gilt and Niello snuff box, Moscow c. 1815-20, master's mark mis-struck (Cyrillic F?) and assay master HA. Rectangular form with pastoral scenes top and bottom, engraved on stippled ground within hatched chevron borders. 3 3/8" x 2" (8.7cm x 5.1cm). The lid is marked with the Moscow town mark and an obscured maker's mark. 120g.
