An unusual George III sterling silver expandable toast rack, hallmarked Sheffield 1818 by Roberts, Clayton & Co. Wire work frame with concertina style mechanism on ball feet. Total height 5 3/8", width 4", length closed 2", length with 3/4" openings is 5 1/4". Expands to 16 1/2" with 2" openings.
