Trays and Salvers
There are a number of different types of trays commonly found in silver. Silver tea trays are the largest, typically oval or rectangular, with a handle at each end. Silver salvers are most commonly round although they can also be oval, square or occasionally rectangular. Silver salvers come in many sizes, they do not have handles but they always have feet. Smaller trays without feet are commonly called waiters.
