A rare Victorian parcel gilt ice cream service for twelve in Bacchanalian pattern hallmarked London 1879 by Henry John Lias & James Wakely. Superb quality figural handles cast in high relief on gilt ground. The set includes two ice cream spades for serving (9") and twelve ice cream spoons (5 1/8"). 18.5 troy oz.

Bacchanalian is a rare pattern that was originally designed by Thomas Stothard for Rundell Bridge & Rundell.
